this is better than reading a blog for a change!
Actually, I'm more concerned on the first video, which you can see in full below!
Some Carlos Kleiber for you, how about the second of his mentions on the TED video below (This is Part 4 of 4 in the series - be sure to click on the links to the other parts to view in full)!

Recycling Time: Fantasy or Reality?
They say that one thing you can't recycle wasted time. But what happens when you have nothing but time to waste? As an only child growing up, I had to find ways to occupy my time. Not only was I an only child, there wasn't anyone relatively my age nor was anyone from my early school days nearby my place. Furthermore, despite my involvement of activities in my social life, I still seemed to have more free time than I imagined. Just last semester (Spring 2011) was I scheduled with nine hours of free time (yes nine!) including but not limited to hours spent academically [classroom/homework]&studying], extra curriculars, and personal needs [hygiene/sleep/nutrition].

Over those years that I was by myself, I began to fill that time. I also developed traits that, not only few people have, but controlled my lifestyle outside of said leisure time. I became a more patient person and as a result can take up five to six hours of doing the same thing before moving on to the next option. Unfortunately everyone has those days when the time does not go by fast enough, myself included.

I have also developed talents through this spare time of mine. I began to draw well, don't get me wrong . . . there are plenty of others that are much more talented at it than I am, but that is not to say my work is awful compared to theirs. I have become good at sport administration, and have had plenty of both real and fictional experiences as well as the interest of the subject which really does fascinate me.
For the record, make use of your free time. You won't be sorry when you develop something you never knew you had. It's a shame to see how many people aren't able to see that they still haven't been able discover the best in them yet, and some people unfortunately never do. Sometimes it even takes others to point that out, although they do not tend to listen to those others all the time when it comes to that regard. Just remember that leisure time is happy time!
