Holy Time Warp, Batman!

As is visible, this site has fallen to the wayside. This was not a venture that I knew where it was headed. I discovered the successes of other blogs I've gone on to write and contribute. This will serve as a filter for images mostly. This includes the following image:

Relax, Stay a While!

I figured this would be a good way to calm your nerves if you're not having the best of days . . .

Lead Like Great Conductors (by: Itay Talgam) Presented by www.ted.org

this is better than reading a blog for a change!

Actually, I'm more concerned on the first video, which you can see in full below!

Some Carlos Kleiber for you, how about the second of his mentions on the TED video below (This is Part 4 of 4 in the series - be sure to click on the links to the other parts to view in full)!

Don't Overdo It

If you're crazy about something that you love that's inanimate, don't go overboard with you passion for it.
You'll see what I mean as you watch this portion of the twentieth round of the 2011-12 Barclays Premier League fixture between Everton hosting league best Manchester City.

Hoping that I can post stuff more often than I have been, so keep checking! :)

Recycling Time: Fantasy or Reality?

They say that one thing you can't recycle wasted time. But what happens when you have nothing but time to waste?  As an only child growing up, I had to find ways to occupy my time.  Not only was I an only child, there wasn't anyone relatively my age nor was anyone from my early school days nearby my place.  Furthermore, despite my involvement of activities in my social life, I still seemed to have more free time than I imagined.  Just last semester (Spring 2011) was I scheduled with nine hours of free time (yes nine!) including but not limited to hours spent academically [classroom/homework]&studying], extra curriculars, and personal needs [hygiene/sleep/nutrition].

Over those years that I was by myself, I began to fill that time.   I also developed traits that, not only few people have, but controlled my lifestyle outside of said leisure time.   I became a more patient person and as a result can take up five to six hours of doing the same thing before moving on to the next option.  Unfortunately everyone has those days when the time does not go by fast enough, myself included.

I have also developed talents through this spare time of mine.  I began to draw well, don't get me wrong . . . there are plenty of others that are much more talented at it than I am, but that is not to say my work is awful compared to theirs.  I have become good at sport administration, and have had plenty of both real and fictional experiences as well as the interest of the subject which really does fascinate me.

For the record, make use of your free time.  You won't be sorry when you develop something you never knew you had.  It's a shame to see how many people aren't able to see that they still haven't been able discover the best in them yet, and some people unfortunately never do.  Sometimes it even takes others to point that out, although they do not tend to listen to those others all the time when it comes to that regard.  Just remember that leisure time is happy time!

New Year Fast Approaching: The Original Article Version

We're about a month away from the first pair of shows airing.  Now keep in mind that I am not planning on being in the weekend of September 24 for at least Sports Talk with R&B, which means Barry will more than likely not be interested in doing the show without me.  Whether I will be ready to go for Ricky in the Morning is still up in the air.  As for said weekend, there is a curling one day clinic being held at the Schenectady Curling Club in Upstate New York featuring the famous Glenn Howard (of Ontario) and his team of Richard Hart, Brent Laing, and Craig Savill - if new teammate Wayne Middaugh, who had his own team in Manitoba, will be in attendance as well.  Middaugh will be replacing Hart for the upcoming curling season after the four have been togethter since the 04-05 season.

Howard has won the Tim Horton's Brier, the Canadian men's national curling championship, in 1987, 1993, 2007 with 9 other second and third place finishes in the event and has made each tournament representing Ontario since 2006.  He finished second in the 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling trials, only to Alberta's Kevin Martin and also has three World Curling Championships for Team Canada in 1987, 1993, and 2007 just as with the Brier.  Prior to the 00-01 season, he was the third for his older brother Russ' team. This curling season will be surely provide exciting action and thought stimulating strategy as I break it down on Sports talk with R&B this winter!

Sports Talk with R&B will be kicking off with topics including the end of the NFL Lockout, the second half of the Australian Football League reports, The Majors getting set for October baseball, and the current continuation of the NBA
